Freshwater Friday – Modern agricultural sensors and river bank monitoring

Erik Van Rooijen from Aalto University will talk about novel agricultural sensor technologies that monitor real-time soil movement and can contribute to the field of fluvial bank erosion. Van Rooijen has used wireless soil sensors developed by our HydroRDI Network partner SoilScout for his research work and is discussing their advantages and disadvantages for fluvial research.
